To God be the glory! Approximately 30 churches came together for special meetings yesterday held in the Homer Rodeheaver auditorium in Winona Lake, Indiana. It was such an honor to preach the final service last night behind the very pulpit Billy Sunday preached his last sermon from before he went to Heaven!
Last night, scores of young people and adults came forward to dedicate or re-dedicate their lives to the Lord. Many other decisions were also made for Christ concerning repentance of sin and the need for soulwinning. It was such a sweet and precious thing to behold! No music for the invitation. Just silence and the sound of tears. Praise God!
A 75 year old man came up to me after the service and said, “I’ve never given my entire heart to God. But tonight I did.” AMEN!! Many others gripped my hand and thanked the Lord for the stirring work He did in their lives. It was a great joy to behold the revitalizing fire of God alive in their eyes. May that Heavenly spark continue!! Truly — “[t]his is the Lord’s doing; it is marvelous in our eyes” (Psalm 118:23).
Thank you for your faithful love and prayers. We are indebted to your passionate intercession. God is at work!
We are looking forward to being again with Liberty Baptist Church in Rochester, Indiana all day tomorrow. Services are at 9:30am, 10:30am, and 6:00pm.
“Come, Holy Ghost, for Thee we call!!”
