Fall/Winter Update 2020

Dear Friends and Supporters:

“This is the LORD’s doing; it is marvellous in our eyes” (Psalm 118:23). It is so incredible to look back over the year and behold God’s goodness and guidance through all that we experienced! As we mentioned in our previous letter, I was in an accident which totaled our 15-passenger van back in May. We praise God that not only did He keep me from getting hurt at all, but He also provided all the funds for our new van (a 2019 mid-roof Ford Transit). So many fellow believers and churches gave generously for this vehicle, and we are eternally grateful for their sacrifice on our behalf for God’s ministry!

Despite the COVID shutdowns, God kept us busier than ever this year, with 74 meetings in 28 different states! Our tract printing ministry, Silent Witness Literature, printed 283,500 Gospel tracts which have been distributed by local churches all across America. During the months of lockdown, we partnered with churches and reached 615,248 homes across the nation with “The Cure” EDDM (or Every Door Direct Mailer). On June 3rd, we released “The Gospel Film” (a 14-minute cinematic Gospel presentation), which has spread like wild-fire across social media and the world! The film came across the feed of 5,516,976 individuals. Out of that number – 2,473,420 people have viewed it, 53,396 reacted with a “like” or “love”, and 35,221 people shared the film to their personal social media feed. We also printed 81,000 “The Gospel Film” cards for local churches to use, with the QR code on the back for folks to scan and instantly watch the film on their smart phones.

“The Gospel Film Project” is an exciting new undertaking to reach the world for Jesus Christ, and we can’t wait to share more about this new endeavor with you soon! We pray we can reach at least 10,000,000 people with the Gospel in 2021! Stay tuned for more information about how you or your church could get involved with this amazing project. Would you begin to pray about this please?

Since our last letter, our travels have been non-stop! We conducted revival meetings in Missouri, Wisconsin, Indiana, Oregon, Washington, Idaho, Utah, Colorado, Illinois, and Iowa this fall/early winter. Looking back on this year, we praise God for the 428 souls that we know of who have trusted Christ through our meetings and the evangelistic outreach of “The Gospel Film”! Truly, the only way to save America is to get America saved. Jesus is the Answer!

Our children are continuing to grow and learn and develop a heart for God and His work. David is excelling in 3rd grade, has made great strides recently in his piano playing, and is very excited to be reading through the New Testament for the first time this year. Jonathan enjoys school and has really blossomed as a reader. He works hard in his piano lessons with Katie and loves to sing in churches as we travel. He has a great range and very good pitch for the young age of 6 years old. Alyssa has loved doing pre-school with Katie this year, and has gotten a head start on cursive writing (since she will be starting with cursive this fall in Kindergarten). She loves to learn new letters, their sounds, and how to write them in cursive. She sang in a few songs on our new CD and always enjoys when she gets to join the family singing in churches. She started piano lessons with Katie this month and is excited to be learning just like her big brothers! Julianna is now 16 months old, babbling all the time and saying new words and phrases every day. She loves animals and baby dolls, and has such a natural motherly instinct when she’s holding her babies! She has a gentle sweet side that loves to snuggle with Mommy and be sung to (she even tries to sing along sometimes!) but she also has a love for the wild and crazy – when she plays “wrestle” with daddy and her big siblings, she loves it WILD!

It was a great joy to baptize Jonathan and Alyssa on Sunday evening of December 27th. We are so grateful for the wonderful work God is doing in the lives of our children! Please pray for us that God would continue to give us wisdom to raise them in the nurture and admonition of the Lord.

We are thrilled to announce that this month we are releasing our latest music album, “God Can”! Because of COVID, some recording dates got postponed, which pushed us back a little bit with getting the CD finished. But we were finally able to get the live symphony orchestra recorded in August in Indiana. Then we got our vocals recorded here in our home studio at the end of August. Sadly, we then had to put the project on hold until we got back from our Fall travels, but once we returned home in mid-November, I was finally able to begin all the mixing and mastering of the CD. It is currently at the manufacturers and will be available for purchase (whether digitally on iTunes or physically from our website) on January 15! Song selections include original songs by Katie (like Blessed TrinitySave our Land, and Give Me A Vision) as well as The Value of One, The Plans I Have For You, Here Is Love, God Can and He Will, and Is Anything Too Hard For God.

As I conclude this letter, may we be reminded that we are living in unique times in American history. I challenge you to stay focused on the Lord, fervent for the Lord, and faithful to the Lord. Now is not the time to give in or give up, but give it all we’ve got to reach this generation for Christ. One of the problems with the disciples was that they were seeking, hoping, and praying for Jesus to establish a political kingdom, when He in fact came to establish a spiritual one. He knew that His spiritual kingdom would, in turn, affect the physical ones. May we not lose our initiative and intensity for what matters most – seeing people saved, interceding as prayer warriors on the behalf of our generation, and remaining steadfast as a righteous remnant to preserve our civilization. You can make a difference!

We head back out on the road January 13th for our Spring Revival Circuit and are scheduled to return home on April 15th. Please continue to pray for our ministry, our safety, for God’s power to be upon our lives, and for souls to be saved! We are excited to see what God is going to do…. GOD CAN!!

For the Lord’s Glory & the Gospel’s Sake,

I Samuel 14:6
