Fall/Winter Report 2017

Dear Friends and Church Family:

It has been a busy and exciting Fall for our family and ministry! God graciously allowed us to have wonderful meetings all over the Midwest, from Minnesota to Oklahoma. A special highlight was getting to hold revival meetings at Hope Baptist Church in St. Paul, Minnesota. It was the church Katie’s parents served in during their Bible college days and were also married in. I had the humbling opportunity to preach at the national conference, Southwide, this fall. Many decisions for Christ were made through our travels, and it was a great joy to see revival spark in a number of churches.

We had the great privilege to be able to help write, direct, and act/sing in our church’s annual Live Animal Christmas Play again this year! Katie wrote original songs for the play, one of which was scored by Brian Buda. (He is incredibly talented and composes most of the orchestration for Majesty Music and Patch the Pirate.) God blessed the Live Animal Christmas Play in a great way, with over 5,000 visitors attending and 468 professions of faith!

The children continue to grow and change so quickly! David is now 5 and is loving kindergarten (Abeka DVD program). Jonathan, age 3, loves to join David in churches quoting small chapters of the Bible from Psalms and singing (especially if he gets to hold his own microphone!). Alyssa, our little miss spunk, is 1½ and loves to toddle around following her brothers everywhere they go. She loves to wrestle (the tougher the better!) but she also has a girlie side to her that loves taking care of her baby dolls. She is so cute!!

God continues to bless our tract ministry, Silent Witness Literature. Since September, we have printed over 40,000 tracts. We would be honored to help you get the Gospel out in your community, if you ever considered ordering full-color, glossy, professionally designed Gospel tracts for your church through our ministry. You can visit our subsidiary website: www.silentwitnessliterature.com, to see more.

We finished a huge project this fall that we are thrilled to announce! Katie and I co-authored our FIRST EVER Christian fiction book for young people! “The Secret of the Lost Scrolls” is an action-packed, Indiana Jones-type adventure novel that teaches the importance of God’s Word and how it has been inspired and preserved throughout the ages. Anyone who reads it from start to finish will walk away with a thorough understanding of how the King James Version is the Word of God for the English-speaking people. We are praying that this book will be the first in an exciting series, with each book teaching wonderful Biblical truths for independent, fundamental Baptist young people. It is AVAILABLE HERE.

Things never slow down around here; it seems there are always projects to stay busy with! We just finished digitally re-mastering and compiling a three-album set entitled “Old Tyme Gospel Hymns and Sacred Solos.” They will contain hymns of the faith sung by Ira D. Sankey, Rodney “Gipsy” Smith, Charles M. Alexander, Homer Rodeheaver, and others. You will not want to miss out on this collector’s set! I am also working on finishing up a full-length, riveting biography on the life of D. L. Moody. It is my prayer that God will use it to stir many to long for widespread redemption and revival in our generation! These items will be available on website.

Looking back on 2017, we can’t help but rejoice at the goodness of God in allowing us to be in this ministry of Evangelism. He has worked so mightily this year and we are just thankful to get to be a part of it! I had the privilege of preaching over 250 times, and over the course of the year we have seen over 300 people saved through our evangelistic endeavors. We look forward to 2018 and all God has in store. We are excited about new products (books, children’s materials, CDs and DVDs) coming out this year. Please pray that God would give us wisdom as we work on these very needful resources. We have a full schedule of meetings all across this country and ask that you would pray for safety and for God’s blessing on each and every mile driven and meeting held!

Thank you for your faithful love, prayers and support of our ministry! May God use you mightily for His glory in this new year! We love you!

Your friend and servant,

CALEB GARRAWAY, John 3:30
