A Concise Bio for Church Use
The Garraway family travels in full-time evangelism a majority of each year. Caleb and Katie have been blessed with five children: David, Jonathan, Alyssa, Julianna, and Olivia. They make their home in Washington, Iowa, and are based out of Marion Avenue Baptist Church. The Lord has blessed their ministries around the world to reach hundreds of millions in 130 different countries. Lost souls have been given one-on-one access to the Gospel through preaching, the printed word, and film — with over 100,000 trusting Christ as their personal Saviour. The Garraways frequently claim Psalm 118:23 “This is the LORD's doing; it is marvellous in our eyes.” Their ministries offer many Christ-honoring resources (music albums, documentaries, and books) for the church, family, and home. Three expressions they often use in their home are: “Forward by Faith”, “He is Worthy”, and “We need the anointing of the Holy Spirit.” Their hearts burn for Heaven-sent revival! Will you join them in fervently praying for a mighty move of God in our generation? God can! (Habakkuk 3:2)
Caleb Garraway
Caleb was born into a Christian home on July 20, 1986, and was born into the family of God on November 9, 1994. At age 11, he was called to preach through the preaching of Dr. Jack Hyles at Pastor’s School in Hammond, Indiana. When he was 16 years old, God called him to be an evangelist. While attending Oklahoma Baptist College, Caleb traveled on the men’s singing group for four years and also worked for Dr. Jim Vineyard at the Windsor Hills Baptist Church for two years. God has burdened his heart to spread the fire of revival across America.
Katie Garraway
Katie was born on November 9, 1985, and was blessed to be able to grow up in a Christian home as a Pastor’s daughter. She accepted the Lord as her Savior in 1991 and surrendered her life to the Lord’s work in 1997. When she was a teenager, God began to burden her heart to be an evangelist's wife. Through the years, God has allowed Katie to use her musical gifts in the local church as pianist, singer, children’s choir director, and teacher. She has written 40 songs and arranged many hymns. As they travel the nation, Katie conducts ladies’ sessions, offering encouraging lessons on modesty, purity, and other Bible truths. Though she is actively raising five children on the road with homeschooling and consistent music practice, she is burdened for God to use her in any capacity she can as the Lord allows.
The Children
Through the gracious leading of their Lord and Savior, Caleb and Katie met in 2008 and were happily married on March 20, 2010. Since then, their desire has been to be used of God in the ministry of full-time evangelism – across America and to the uttermost parts of the earth.
God has blessed the Garraways with five children. David, age 13, is called to preach and plays the piano and trumpet, using his musical talents to serve the Lord with his family. Jonathan, age 11, is surrendered to whatever God wants for his future. He plays the piano and cello and is used by God to be a blessing to many through his playing and singing. Alyssa is 9 years old and is Mom's right hand helper! She has made the decision to serve God in full-time ministry someday and is developing her talents in piano and violin. Julianna, age 6, loves the Lord and is such a ray of sunshine in the Garraway home; she is learning the piano and sings with the family, too!Sweet little Olivia is one year old and is a smiley bundle of joy to all who meet her. The Garraways are fully enjoying the blessing of parenthood and pray continually that God will give them wisdom to be Godly examples of Christ and consistent, loving trainers as they raise their children for the Lord.
Remnant Ministries is an evangelistic organization burdened for “Rent Heavens” (Isaiah 64), represented by the Garraway family who travel worldwide from their home church in Washington, Iowa. We believe God still uses the faithful—whether many or few—to make an eternal impact. Our mission is to boldly pursue Redemption for the lost, Revival to the church, and Righteousness in our generation, calling every Christian to unwaveringly stand for Truth and unashamedly spread the Gospel.
